When The Matches chose to reunite in 2014, I collaborated with their manager to come up with fun promotional ideas. Since this reunion was based around the 10 year anniversary of their first record, I pitched the idea of doing behind the scenes videos per each song off the record. There was no B-roll provided to me, so we were only able to offer talking head material, but the stories I was able to get out of the band members were great, and helped amplify the buzz around their reunion.

There are 12 of these videos, but here is my favorite: the story of the song Borderline Creep.

In early 2019, a friend needed help directing a series of interviews to help promote Morrissey’s upcoming covers record. Given Morrissey doesn’t do any publicity, we were faced with the challenge of trying to promote a record without having the artist. This proved simple, however, because the artists who were covered and the producers and musicians who contributed to the record were all legends on their own and were a delight to interview. The legends featured in this series of videos includes: Jerry Fuller, Roger Joseph Manning, Jr., Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Joe Chiccarelli, Jesse Tobias, Buffy St. Marie, and Gary Puckett.
